I'm from NYC, but have called Ocean Beach, SD home since 2010!
Beyond a near obsession with plants and all horticulture, I love science, playing music and spending time in nature!
I hope to connect with new plant friends and nerd out! 😊
I am a mother of thousands of green babies but only 4 girls.
I use to live in the natural growing habitats of most of these tropical plants and learned how to care for them as a little girl from my mom.
She made learning how to plant so effortlessly that I didn’t even think I was learning but was just having fun hanging out w my mom!
I would love to share all the knowledge I have gathered with my plant family!

I am a housewife and a mother of human kids, fur kids, and plant kids.
I started my plant journey from a succulent jade plant, and from there I continued my journey to rare plants.
I LOVE it and cannot stop.
Now I am here sharing some of my plants with you all through Blossm so that we all can have these beautiful rare, uncommon, and common house plants into your house.
Remember to never give up when caring for these plants.
They will feel the “love” that you provided them and in return they will grow into beautiful plants for you to admire and be proud of.
In 2013 I founded a distillery called Seven Stills in San Francisco.
The company was founded on the unique concept of making whiskeys from different styles of craft beer.
In 2020 my first daughter was born, and my wife and I decided to relocate to my original hometown of San Diego to be closer to family.
Over the past year I have fallen in love with the tropical plants that grow in abundance in the hot and humid San Diego climate.
Since I was already looking for a space to age my whiskeys, I decided to look for a place with a small lot of land that could double as a tropical plant nursery, and ultimately found my home in Vista.
My new venture: Native Transplants, will be a hybrid distillery/nursery and focuses on things that seem native to us, but were actually brought here from somewhere else.
I'm planning to have this include whiskeys, Mezcals, Tequilas, Rhums, Plumeria, Philodendron, and other rare tropical plants.
I look forward to sharing my journey with this awesome community!

I’ve been a gardener since 2011, but became an avid collector of rare succulents and aroids in 2018, and began selling in 2019 to pay for the addiction.
😂😩🪴 When I’m not gardening, you can find me hanging out with family and friends, being a mom, planning my next waterfall exploration, at church, or doing something food related, whether that be stuffing my face or doing my big girl job: talking about delicious stuff with [98% of the time] fabulous people in the food and service industry.
🥰🍴 I am an avid foodie, I have [moderately 😂] functioning adhd, am a born-again Christian with many flaws but a with a love for life, a love for learning, and a love for every person and every culture on this beautiful planet, and of course, a solid plant addiction!

During the pandemic I moved out to live on my own for the very first time.
No roommates, just me!
I had so much space to fill so I decided to get some plants.
After getting 2 or 3, I couldn't stop!
I kept finding myself at the plant shop buying more and more.
Shortly after I started watching Youtube videos on how to care for plants and that's when I was introduced to a whole new world - the plant community!
I fell in love instantly with plants and the community and haven't looked back since!
Blossm was all about plants so it drew me in instantly, but what has kept me around is the community!
It's been so great meeting and speaking to so many of you!

Hi, I'm Dana!
I live in Oregon, I'm mom, a wife, and I work as a financial analyst.
I love all things scary and attempting DIY projects, though plants are my greatest passion.
My plant journey began in 2019 with my first outdoor garden.
Soon, I began collecting uncommon perennial, fruit-bearing outdoor plants.
One day, my friend gifted me a pothos cutting, and that's when my love of houseplants blossmed.
At that time, I was finishing my Bachelor’s and starting my Master's degree while staying at home with my son, so I was able to go all-in on acquiring, trading, and selling houseplants.
Before long, I had amassed quite a substantial collection.
During my last semester of grad school, I knew I needed a better solution for my plants before I joined the workforce, so we spent last Spring building a greenhouse!
It's been so much fun having a large space for the plants that I've grown to love and it will continue to be a wonderful journey.
Plants have taught me so much and I've met many amazing plant friends along the way.
I tend to propagate what I have and I like to experiment with different growing mediums.
Hoyas are my favorite, and I love aroids, too.
I have quite the affinity for terrarium plants and strange plants like corpse flowers, sarracenias, and unique asclepiads.
If you've made it this far, thanks for reading and good luck in the giveaway!
It's so nice to "meet" you all ♡ Check out her Blossm shop below to see some beautiful plants!
I grew up with plants. Every family household had a mixture of fruit trees, vegetable and/or herb garden, and house plants
As for me, I have it all from fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, bromeliads, begonias, snake, succulents and tropical plants.
I really love variegated and silver plants, especially philodendrons.
I stay away from the plants needing high humidity, as I do not have a terrarium or a green house.
As a self-proclaimed plant aficionado, Lydia founded Plantiego as an excuse to create a natural green space within an urban environment.
She loves to chat plants and all things planty, specializing in rare collector plants like variegated aroids and alocasias.
Reach out if you have any questions for plant care, it’s her favorite way to procrastinate!
I love syngoniums and variegated philos
I have references available in Mercari under the same shop name
Florida based artist & grower, Chandler aka @TheWonderingPlants loves weird, funky people and is a bonafide plant queen.
She started her plant journey to find peace away from a face-paced mainstream lifestyle and now has found her plant people within the Blossm community.
We're stoked to have her!
Some of her best art utilizes an alternative photography technique called "cyanotyping" which results in brilliant blue hued floral arrangements.
Check out some of her amazing art and beautiful painted pots in her blossm shop.

ABOUT ME: Licensed FL nursery stock dealer.
I fell in love with plants and started collecting in 2017, then opened my Etsy shop in 2020! I got the idea for RootsOnRoots and started selling rooted cuttings because I thought how much I love growing my own whole plant from a cutting and thought others would too. Feel free to refer there for my reviews. I went to school in Boston, MA and then moved to Denver, CO and now in Homestead, FL 🪴
SHIPPING INFO: Happy to combine one shipping price for multiple plants. Let me know if you’d like to pay to upgrade to express. If you would like to wait to ship due to weather please message me, otherwise I ship on Monday’s & Tuesday’s. If there is any issues with your plant upon arrival, please TAKE PHOTOS & message me a description of what happened with images or video within 12 hours of delivery and I can totally work with you to resolve the issue. ✈️
RECOMMENDATION: Since all my plants & cuttings ship bare root, I recommend putting bare root plants directly into water upon arrival and allow them to remain there for several days to recover & rehydrate from their journey in the mail before planting them. I have found shipping plants bare root ensures the safe & healthy arrival of the plant. 🌿
FOREWARNING: I am happy to give you any tips & advice that may be helpful but once the cutting/plant leaves my possession, it is yours! NO returns or refunds — by purchasing from me you agree to these conditions. ✅
