Direct deposit requests normally take anywhere from 2-3 business days as long as there are no errors with your account information.
Later: If the account or routing number is incorrect, it takes 5 business days for the bank to reject the request. On the 5th business day, an automated email is sent to you to correct any incorrect account or routing numbers. Additionally, please review your savings account as well because sometimes banks mistakenly deposit there instead (even when checking account numbers are provided.) Occasionally we may experience direct deposit delays due to a high volume of transactions.
